News letter Vol. 12, Issue 2 from Mac’s Modeling LLC 03/10/2016
I have the floor of the new Workshop in place and hopefully this weekend I will
get the walls up, as long as I can talk some friends into helping me stand them
up. :) Other than that, my personal situation has not really improved, which also slowed down the necessary changes, but I am getting through it. And as many of you know has slowed down me shipping out kits. I am still playing catch up. Thank you for your patience. **************************************************************************************************
I do want to emphasize a point on ordering, especially as we
are so busy; by all means phone in your order, but we need you to confirm it in
writing in the form of an email to orders@macsmodeling.com,
this will prevent misplaced orders.
One last note: If you receive an email that says you owe
xxxxxxJPY (an amount in Japanese Yen) please pay in JPY, NOT US
Dollars. It costs me money to change it to JPY. ************************************************** Model News
: We
are getting much closer to producing the 1:12 DFV engines, I still have not come
up with a retail price yet. I am beginning to get an idea and I'm confident you
will like it, considering all the parts that will be included. White metal parts
are being produced by Tameo, and resin parts will probably be produced by MFH,
still waiting on their pricing and schedule. Also a curbside version of 1:20 scale Lotus 94T has been released under their "light" models: LK006 it retails at 18,000JPY and can be found on the Pre-order page They have also released some really nice detail parts; Cable ties. There are four different options, two in Black and two in white, making a total of six different sizes in each color. P1086 White, 3 sizes, 10 of each size. P1087 Black, 3 sizes, 10 of each size. P1088 White 3 smaller sizes, 10 of each size and P1089 Black, 3 smaller sizes, 10 of each size. These are all available for pre-order and can be found on the Pre-order page. If you do not have a subscription to these and you want a copy, please email your request now. They have also re-released some older kits which you will have seen in the email you received. These are very limited numbers, so if you want one, order NOW and I will get them reserved. They are producing some 1:12 Wheels with tire warmers, rain tires with decals, items for dioramas and more. They offer customization of their items for your individual needs as well.
: We are now being told that the release of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento will be at the end of March, the "Overseas edition" which is what we get, will include a clear body as extra that the Japanese market will not get. You can pre-order these now if you like by sending an email to orders@macsmodeling.com with Aoshima in the subject line and your order in the body of the email. If you want something else from them please email us. We are required to make a minimum order so please place orders for their products, any of them. ;) : What can I say..........the McLaren MP4/30 mid and early season have been released. REFERENCE MATERIAL: You will notice I keep mentioning sending orders to orders@macsmodeling.com with different titles in the Subject line. I REALLY want you to follow these instructions, PLEASE! I have created "filters" in the orders@macsmodeling.com so the emails will go into the correct folder for Manufacturers etc. That way I know where to look for orders for different manufacturers, rather than having to go through every email to find your order. You can still use the order form, but most important is you put the Manufacturer in the subject line. If you have something you want from multiple Manufacturers, just put "Multiple Order" in the subject line, fill out and attach the Excel Order Form. If you cannot download the order form, just put what you want in the body of the email. I hope that is clear......................probably as mud. ;) Tameo and This Way Up are the exceptions: Because Tameo, on their website, have Tameo@macsmodeling.com as a way to contact me for customers, any Tameo items should be ordered there. And This Way Up orders should be sent toTWU@macsmodeling.com Thank you, ahead of time, for your efforts in doing this. ******************************************** If you do not want to receive these News Letters, please email me by reply and simple write "REMOVE me from your list".
