This being the first News Letter of 2016. I hope the New year is going well for you so far. For me I have my car back with a fresh heart (Engine) and it is really nice to drive again. :)

As we enter this new year, there have been some changes in my life, which I am sure will be an improvement over the last few months. I am still building the new workshop, but the cold and rain has slowed that process, however, I have been able to produce some more resin parts, and will keep doing so.

I do want to emphasize a point on ordering, especially as we are so busy; by all means phone in your order, but we need you to confirm it in writing in the form of an email to orders@macsmodeling.com, this will prevent misplaced orders.

Apparently, some of you cannot download the Excel Order form. Don't worry if you can't, just send your email order with what you want in the body of the email.

One last note: If you receive an email that says you owe xxxxxxJPY (an amount in Japanese Yen) please pay in JPY, NOT US Dollars. It costs me money to change it to JPY.

Model News

: We are getting closer to producing the 1:12 DFV engines, I still have not come up with a retail price yet, but I think it will be good, considering all the parts that will be included. White metal parts are being produced by Tameo, and resin parts will probably be produced by MFH, just waiting on thier pricing and schedule.
As mentioned in the beginning, resin casting and machining has started up again, so more parts will become available as the weeks go by.

: The 1:12 Gurney Eagle-Weslake kits have been an amazing seller. These will sell out very quickly, I'm sure, prompting a second release very quickly. They are still shown on the Pre-order page. If you have not ordered one do it now! I am expecting these kits to be available for shipping from Japan early next week. Please pay your invoices ASAP.

Also, Racing Pictorial Vol. 48, is being released this month. It covers 1972 Grand Prix, Part 1.  If you do not have a subscription to these and you want a copy, please email your request now.

You should know the system now, but just in case you don't..........send your order via email to orders@macsmodeling.com with MFH in the subject line, and what you would like in the body of the email, or attach a completed order form.

STUDIO 27: If you want anything from Studio 27. Send your order to orders@macsmodeling.com and put ST27 in the subject line and what you want in the body of the email.

Check out the Pre-Order page for other items, and if there is something you want that will be released in the future, just send us an email with your pre-order.

 We have had just announced their next detail set for the McLaren 1:12 MP4/6, the super detail upgrade set for the engine, TD23160. This will retail at $109.00, the pre-order price will be $97.50. Please make your pre-orders soon so I can order enough. Send your order email to orders@macsmodeling.com and put Top Studio in the subject line. Also let me know if there are other Top Studio parts you would like that are not shown in stock. The items shown in stock on the Top Studio page are current.

 Don't forget, the GIANT 1:4 scale Ducati Panigale and 1:8 scale Lamborghini Hurican was due out in October, now it looks like January/February. If you want one pre-order for a nice discount.

efworks: A new kid on the block see the New Products Showcase. They are producing some 1:12 Wheels with tire warmers, rain tires with decals, items for dioramas and more. They offer customization of their items for your individual needs as well.

: December should have seen the release of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, but we have been told that due to some manufacturing the kits will now be released January/February. You can pre-order these now if you like by sending an email to orders@macsmodeling.com with Aoshima in the subject line and your order in the body of the email. If you want something else from them please email us. We are required to make a minimum order so please place orders for their products, any of them. ;)

: What can I say..........four kits due for release.........the first of the McLaren MP4/30 has been released. We will be send out invoices for these very soon.

REFERENCE MATERIAL: 
We are always adding more reference material. Check out the Ref Material page  If you have not had a look lately, have a good look through the list, you just may find something you "must have". ;) If you have any suggestions for material, let us know

You will notice I keep mentioning sending orders to orders@macsmodeling.com with different titles in the Subject line. I REALLY want you to follow these instructions, PLEASE!

I have created "filters" in the orders@macsmodeling.com so the emails will go into the correct folder for Manufacturers etc. That way I know where to look for orders for different manufacturers, rather than having to go through every email to find your order. You can still use the order form, but most important is you put the Manufacturer in the subject line. If you have something you want from multiple Manufacturers, just put "Multiple Order" in the subject line, fill out and attach the Excel Order Form. If you cannot download the order form, just put what you want in the body of the email. I hope that is clear......................probably as mud. ;)

Tameo and This Way Up are the exceptions: Because Tameo, on their website, have Tameo@macsmodeling.com as a way to contact me for customers, any Tameo items should be ordered there. And This Way Up orders should be sent toTWU@macsmodeling.com
